Glorija Tubak is a visual artist based in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and works primarily through painting and drawing.

Her practice explores perception and the ways in which a painting communicates with the viewer, with its surrounding space, and with itself. She is interested in the painting not simply as an image or representation, but as an autonomous presence that can produce relationships, shifts in attention, and different modes of looking.

Her work examines the space between what is depicted and what is perceived, considering how visual elements can influence the viewer’s experience while simultaneously establishing their own internal relationships within the painting.

Through painting, she investigates the encounter between the work and the viewer, allowing energy to emerge through observation rather than prescribing a singular interpretation.
